*The Tweet and Talk Live Event only runs for 20 minutes, but the chat will continue on Twitter as a Slow Chat for the rest of the month.

CHAT QUESTIONS
Communication is the act or process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviours to express or exchange information, or to express your ideas, thoughts, feelings, etc., to someone else
1. What are effective communication skills?
2. How do you communicate with others without using words? Explain?
…to Emoji or not Emoji?… that is the question!
Gifs or no Gifs?
3. How important is listening for communication? Why?
4. In your mind, is texting or talking face to face a better way to communicate? Why?
5. How do good communication skills help you at school? in life?
For example, think about how you communicate differently with your friends and family versus your teachers? Why?
*These same 5 questions will be used for each chat this month: Tweet and Talk, K-6 Chat, K-12 Slow Chat. Where necessary, questions have been reworded for younger Tweeters. We recommend classes spend time answering the questions ahead of time so time during the chat can be spent liking tweets, retweeting, quoting tweets in reply, and collaborating with others.
